20 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

In this warranty: “Mattress” means the mattress sold by PB to the dealer. The “mattress” does not include the base or foundation. “PB” means Plasmabed, Incorporated. “Purchaser” and “You” both mean the consumer who is the original purchaser of this mattress made by PB. This warranty is not transferable. “Warranty Commencement Date” means the date You purchased a new and unused PB mattress. PB warrants this mattress to You on the terms and over the reducing periods of time set out below. All warranty claims require notice from You to be given to PB in the manner set out below, and to be received by PB inside the applicable warranty time period. Your new PB mattress is covered by a 20 Year Limited Warranty. For 20 years after you purchase your new mattress from PB or an authorized PB retailer, when it has a defect covered under the warranty, we will replace or repair it. The details of this warranty, and some limitations, are provided in the complete Warranty Description, available at plasmabed.com or from your retailer. Certain mattress models include a removable/washable cover that have a warranty of two (2) years against faults in material or workmanship and are otherwise specifically excluded from the scope of this 20 year Limited Warranty. If a cover is replaced due to warranty coverage and an identical cover is no longer available, a cover of comparable quality, one that is not identical to that initially provided with the product, can be used as a substitute. 

For purposes of this Limited Warranty, the term “product” means any PB mattress. PB warrants that it will, at PB’s option, replace or repair the Purchaser’s PB product sold in Canada by an authorized retailer if that product is defective due to faulty workmanship or materials, subject to the limitations described in this Limited Warranty.

All warranty claims will be handled at place of purchase. Full Warranty for the first 5 years, PB will not charge the purchaser to repair or replace the mattress if it is deemed defective. Limited Warranty applies after five years until 20 years from date of purchase, charging you 1/15 of the current selling price at the time of adjustment times the number of years owned. PB warrants that it will cover all costs necessary to replace the defective product to the original dealer excluding transportation costs. Transportation is the responsibility of the purchaser and is additional to any prorated charges, except where prohibited by applicable law.

This Limited Warranty covers the following items during normal wear:

- Deterioration causing the mattress to have a visible indentation greater than one (.75) inch that is not associated with an indentation or sag which results from use of an improper or unsupportive foundation or adjustable bed base. Normal wear requires that a mattress be constantly supported by a matching foundation or adjustable bed base with proper bed frame support sufficient for the collective weight of the mattress and foundation. 

- Any physical flaw in the mattress that causes the foam material to split or crack, despite normal usage and proper handling.

- Any manufacturing defect in the zipper assembly of the mattress cover.

This Limited Warranty does not cover the following:

- A normal increase in softness of the Plasma® pressure-relieving material which does not affect the pressure-relieving qualities of the mattress. 

- Comfort preference.

- Physical abuse or damage to the structure and/or cover material, including but not limited to, burns, cuts, tears, liquid damage, or stains; provided, that the defect is caused by such abuse or damage.

- Replacement of any non-defective pieces in the Plasma sleep system

- Floor models or “demos” sold at a discount

- Any mattress sold by resellers who are not authorized retailers.

Mattresses sold “as-is”, “preconditioned”, “reconditioned”, “used”, “comfort return”, “returned”, “previously owned”, or any other similar wording indicating that the mattress is not “new” or of “first quality”, or has previously been purchased or used by another consumer. PB reserves the right to substitute materials of equal or higher quality if identical material is not available at the time of warranty service request, including the substitution of like quality of any cover fabric or ticking. We suggest PB products be placed on a suitable ventilated base. Mattresses cannot be flipped but should be spun every 6-8 weeks end to end. Warranty does not apply to covering material or protective coatings. Should service be required the warranty will be void if on inspection the product is found to be in an unsanitary condition or has received obvious abuse.

Warranty is good for the original purchaser only & must be accompanied by the original purchase receipt, do not ship or return without first obtaining a warranty service number.

This warranty must be presented with the original bill of sale if service is required at some future date. This warranty gives the purchaser specific legal rights, and you may have greater rights existing under legislation in your jurisdiction. Where any term of this warranty is prohibited by such laws, it shall be null and void, but the remainder of this warranty shall remain in effect.



PLASMABED® LIFESTYLE BASE

20 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

In this warranty: “Adjustable base” means the adjustable bed foundation sold by PB to the dealer. The “adjustable base” does not include the mattress. “PB” means Plasmabed Incorporated. “Purchaser” and “You” both mean the consumer who is the original purchaser of this adjustable base made by PB. This warranty is not transferable. “Warranty Commencement Date” means either (i) the date You purchased a new and unused PB adjustable base or (ii) the date of manufacture of this adjustable base if You purchased a PB adjustable base that has been used as floor or display model. A “replacement part” is a new or used part selected at the sole discretion of the manufacturer, including a refurbished or reinspected part, provided in replacement of a part previously incorporated in the adjustable base. PB warrants this adjustable base to You on the terms and over the reducing periods of time set out below. All warranty claims require notice from You to be given to PB in the manner set out below, and to be received by PB inside the applicable warranty time period. 1ST YEAR FULL WARRANTY For the first year from the Warranty Commencement Date, your adjustable base is warranted against non-excluded defects in PB’s workmanship or materials. During the first year from the Warranty Commencement Date, PB will repair or replace (at no cost to You) any defective adjustable base part, and PB will pay all authorized labor and transportation costs associated with the repair or replacement of any parts found to be defective. 2ND to 5TH YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY During 2ND to 5TH year from the Warranty Commencement Date, PB will replace any adjustable base part found to be defective and not excluded by this warranty. You are responsible to pay all service and transportation costs related to the costs of receiving and installation of the replacement part. 6TH YEAR TO END OF 20TH YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY Starting in the sixth year from the Warranty Commencement Date and through to the end of the 20th year from the Warranty Commencement Date, PB will replace steel and mechanical base parts found to be defective and not excluded by this warranty. This warranty does not cover any electronics, electrical components, drive motors or massage motors. You are responsible to pay all service and transportation costs related to receiving and installation of the replacement part and a portion of the cost of the replacement steel and mechanical part, based on the number of months that the base has been owned by you since the sixth anniversary of the Warranty Commencement Date. By the end of the 20th year, no portion of the replacement cost is covered by PB. You will be required to pay 1/15th of the then current replacement cost of the part multiplied by the number of years past the fifth year from the Warranty Commencement Date. This portion is calculated using the following formula: Cost of the replacement part divided by 15 [being the number of years in years 6 to 20 inclusive], multiplied by the number of years you have owned the base since the end of the first 5 years. For example, if you make a claim for a replacement part eligible for this warranty in the 7th year since the Warranty Commencement Date, you would be responsible for paying: $100 part cost divided by 15, multiplied by 2 = $16.67. ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS This warranty requires notice to be given to PB of any claim for repairs or replacement parts. EXCLUSIONS: This warranty does not apply; (a) to any damage caused by You; (b) if there has been any repair or replacement of adjustable base parts by an unauthorized person; (c) if the adjustable base has been mishandled (whether in transit or by other means), subjected to physical or electrical abuse or misuse, or otherwise operated in any manner inconsistent with the operation and maintenance procedures outlined in the Setup Guide, User Guide and this warranty; (d) to damage to mattresses, fabric, cables, electrical cords or items supplied by dealers (contact the dealer for warranty information on these items); (e) if there has been any modification of the adjustable base without prior written consent by PB; or (f) to costs for unnecessary service calls, including costs for in-home service calls solely for the purpose of educating You about the adjustable base or finding a satisfactory power connection. This warranty will be void if either the recommended weight restriction is not followed (refer to the advisory section of the Setup Guide and/or User Guide) or if You sell or give or transfer the base to another person. Any repairs to or replacement to Your adjustable base or its components under the terms of this limited warranty does not extend the applicable warranty from the Warranty Commencement Date. This time limitation may not apply in some jurisdictions, including the Province of Quebec. The decision to repair or to replace defective parts under this warranty shall be made, or cause to be made, by PB at its option and in its sole discretion. Repair or replacement shall be the sole remedy of the Purchaser. There shall be no liability on the part of PB for any special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages or for any other damage, claim, or loss not expressly covered by the terms of this warranty. This limited warranty does not include reimbursement for inconvenience, removal, installation, setup time, loss of use, shipping, or any other costs or expenses. PB and its service technicians will not be responsible for moving furniture or any other items not attached to the adjustable base in order to perform service on the adjustable base. It is the sole responsibility of You to provide adequate space and accessibility to the adjustable base. In the event that the technician is unable to perform service due to lack of accessibility, the service call will be billed to You and the service will have to be rescheduled. PB makes no other warranty whatsoever, express or implied, and all implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are disclaimed by PB and excluded from this agreement. Some American States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to You. This warranty gives You specific legal rights, and You may also have other rights, which may vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. This warranty is valid in all 50 American States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and all 10 Provinces and 3 Territories of Canada. 100-Night Comfort Guarantee

You have 100 nights, from the day your mattress is delivered or picked up in-store, to try it out in the comfort of your home and make sure it’s the right fit for you. If not, you can exchange it for one of our other mattresses, hassle-free, at any Plasmabed location. We can exchange in-store or deliver your new selection right to the inside of your door with our Free Standard Delivery or you can choose to upgrade to White Glove Delivery at checkout, which includes delivery to the room of your choice as well as setup and assembly of your bed. We will remove your old mattress, base and/or boxspring as well as all excess packaging.

Exchange Details: We are able to confidently offer an exchange only, due to our vast expertise and product selection, and are confident we have the perfect bed for you. There is a $79 Exchange Fee to cover the delivery of the new product, plus the pick-up of your exchanged mattress. In addition, you will be responsible for paying any balance due upon exchange if the retail price of the new item(s) selected is greater than the retail price of the returned item(s).
